Wild Adventures 3rd Most Affordable Park in U.S.

With thrilling rides, a waterpark, hundreds of exotic animals, and an all-star concert lineup, it’s easy to see why Travel + Leisure identified Wild Adventures Theme Park as the third most affordable amusement park in the United States.

Straddling the Georgia-Florida line, just a few miles from Valdosta, people of all ages are finding Wild Adventures Theme Park to be their ticket for an affordable day of fun.

Part of Herschend Enterprise, Wild Adventures started as Liberty Farms Animal Park in 1996 and has morphed into a 177-acre family-friendly theme park.

The ranking was based on a recent HomeToGo study that reviewed 30 U.S. theme parks on the cost of admission, parking, and nearby lodging options.

“This is the third recognition Wild Adventures has received for its affordability, something our guests and pass holders have been enjoying for more than two decades,” said Adam Floyd, senior marketing and sales manager. “We are happy to continue providing memorable, reasonably priced experiences for families.”

Wild Adventures has also been named one of the top 10 Most Affordable Water and Theme Parks in the U.S. by AOL.com and the Top Theme Park Deal in Georgia by Yahoo! Finance.

According to the study, a general ticket to Wild Adventures is $53.74, which is considerably lower than the national average of $74.51 and significantly lower than the average cost per day at popular parks in Florida and California at $217.37 and $258.98, respectively.
