Imagine Thomasville<\/a> and the Thomasville Payroll Development Authority (PDA) announced that Mimecri, USA, LLC plans to invest $6 million, create 30 jobs and establish their new U.S. headquarters in Thomasville, Georgia.<\/p>\n

The parent company, Ecrimesa Group<\/a> of Santander, Spain, is a family-owned business established in 1964. The company develops and manufactures efficient steel and aluminum parts with investment casting, MIM, and machining. The company’s products are used in the aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and firearms industries.<\/p>\n

“Thomasville and Thomas County are thrilled to welcome Mimecri, USA, LLC to our community and to the U.S.,” said Thomasville PDA Chairman and Mayor Jay Flowers.\u00a0“We know they will thrive and continue to grow as their U.S. presence grows.”<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mimecri, USA LLC has leased a 50,000-square-foot building in an existing Thomasville industrial park. Construction will continue through 2022, and hiring is expected to start in spring 2023.<\/p>\n

“Mimecri is a perfect fit for Thomasville, family-owned, great people, and high-quality jobs. There will be opportunities for managers, machine operators, and office personnel,” said Shelley Zorn, director of the Thomasville PDA. “These will be skilled jobs at very competitive salary levels. And Mimecri has plans beyond this first phase to growth as the company expands their U.S. customer base.”<\/p>\n
