Bursting with southern charm, Bainbridge<\/a> is a picturesque community with tree-lined streets and historic homes.<\/p>\n

Having both the Flint River and Lake Seminole, Bainbridge has been recognized as the “Bass Capital of Georgia” for its multiple professional and amateur fishing tournaments held each year.<\/p>\n

Launch your boat into the Flint River from the Earle May Boat Basin, including a walking trail, picnic pavilion, and overnight camping area.<\/p>\n

A must-see in Bainbridge is Willis Park, a charming garden-style park at the center of the historic downtown district<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Celebrate the city’s culinary flair at The American<\/a>, located in the downtown square. The menu offers seafood, beef, and poultry and a diverse selection of specialty dishes that give a twist to some southern classics. Case in point, Georgia’s “100 Plates Locals Love” named The American’s Heirloom Tomato Pie to its coveted list of food favorites. Made in a cast iron skillet, the pie features blended cheeses and heirloom tomatoes in a flakey crust.<\/p>\n

A couple of doors down is Southern Philosophy Brewing<\/a>, a brewpub specializing in art-crafted beers, cocktails, wood-fired pizzas, salads, and charcuterie boards.<\/p>\n

Downtown Bainbridge recently welcomed The Willis Park Hotel<\/a>, a boutique-style hotel with six stylized rooms, each offering a unique overnight experience. The historic space is located on the town square with a balcony providing the best views of Willis Park.<\/p>\n

On the hotel’s second floor is Caf\u00e9 Sinclair<\/a>, offering al fresco dining on the balcony. The caf\u00e9 is primarily open during breakfast and lunch and the perfect spot for special events in the evening. A great gathering place for the community and perfect for visitors to Bainbridge, Caf\u00e9 Sinclair’s menu features Lucky Goat Coffee from nearby Tallahassee, scratch pastries, cakes, macarons, sandwiches, and salads. For the health-conscious, wheatgrass shots and\u00a0cold-pressed\u00a0vegetable and fruit juices.<\/p>\n
